Parq El Retiro is a botanical oasis filled with luscious flower gardens and tranquility and used to be the exclusive grounds to Royalty before they opened up to the public.  You can rent a paddle boat on the pond, or ride a bike through the breathtaking paths, or just take a stroll and view the famous monument Alfonso XII.  Lots of funky street vendors and array of. entertainers to enjoy,

Not far from the pond is the Cristal Palace – an architecture masterpiece made of glass that was built in 1887.

On the other side of Madrid is the Royale Palace and the majestic Sabatini Gardens. Finish your day off at Parque temple de Depod where you can enjoy from above stunning views of some of Madrids most famous landmarks.
